Allah Rakha Rahman, best known to the world as AR Rahman turns a year old today.

The Oscar winning music composer, who celebrates his 48th birthday today in Chennai, has created a rich legacy of music with his contribution to innumerable Hindi and regional movies as well as Hollywood flicks like Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours.

Currently Rahman is working for Imtiaz Ali's Highway, Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan and director Shankar's I. Rahman also has been roped for Shekar Kapur's most prestigious project Paani which is yet to hit the floors.

Here's wishing the Mozart of Madras a very happy birthday.
