Hyundai India has launched an updated avatar of its 7-seater SUV Alcazar. A mid-cycle refresh has long been planned for the three-row Creta SUV. The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift will be available at a special price of Rs 14.99 lakh for the petrol model and Rs 15.99 lakh for the diesel model. It will continue to compete with existing rivals such as Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector, Citroen C3 Aircross and Kia Carens. Alcazar sales have been sluggish in recent months. However, the update is expected to add more numbers to the SUV's monthly sales figures. The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar looks more like a stretched Curetta. It adopts a bold exterior design theme consisting of a rather subtle front fascia with H-shaped connected LED daytime running lights, a large grille and wide slats. Big changes to the sides include new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, larger rear windows, a black painted finish and the addition of bridge-shaped roof rails. The rear of the Alcazar has also been significantly optimized with a new spoiler, a revised bumper and a new skid plate design. In addition, the LED taillights are connected in series with the indicators.
