About the Lecturer

Dr. K. S. Kannan has taught Sanskrit for over 35 years, and authored around 25 books pertaining to Sanskrit grammar, literature etc. He has presented papers in many national and international conferences.

He has given invited talks at prestigious institutions like Indian Institute of Science (Bangalore), Indian Institute of Management (Bangalore), Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (New Delhi), Indian Institute of World Culture (Bangalore), and recently at the International Gita Forum (Singapore) and ISOL 2018 Conference Commemorating 125 years of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago lecture.
