About this Event

With the blessings of Hari, Vayu , Gurugalu and Sri Sri Sugunendra Thirtha Swamiji of Sri Puthige Mutt Udupi, SVK Temple will be celebrating Sri Raghavendra Swamigala Aradhana Mahotsava this year too. Due to the existing situation with Covid-19 we will have modified celebrations to conform with state and city mandated requirements. We are hereby requesting your cooperation and understanding in this matter as all the proceedings will be webcast and we request devotees to participate in these activities online. In light of this situation here are the details of the Aradhane celebrations:

Tuesday August 4th, 2020: Poorvaradhane
      - 08:00 to 10:00 am : Sri Raghavendra swami Abhisheka (will be webcast and devotees can participate online with Upanishat chanting and Bhajane)
     - 10:30 am: Mahamangalarathi
     - 05:00 pm to 07:00 pm:  Devotees can visit temple for darshana. Please note that there will be only 10 visitors allowed at a time and mask is mandatory
     - 07:00 pm to 08:00 pm: Taratamya Bhajane online, followed by Mangalarathi

Wednesday August 5th, 2020: Madhyaradhane
     - 08:00 to 10:00 am : Rayara Abhisheka:  (will be webcast and devotees can participate online with Upanishat chanting and Bhajane)
     - 10:30 am: Mahamangalarathi
     - 11:00 am to 01:00 pm: Devotees can visit Temple to have darshana, pick up Parimala Prasada and Mantrakshate which are kept pre-packed
     - 05:00 pm to 07:00 pm : Devotees can visit temple for darshana. Please note that there will be only 10 visitors allowed at a time and mask is mandatory
     - 07:00 pm to 08:00 pm : Taratamya Bhajane online, followed by Mangalarathi

Thursday August 6th, 2020: Uttararadhane
     - 08:00 to 10:00 am : Rayara Abhisheka (will be webcast and devotees can participate online with Upanishat chanting and Bhajane)
     - 10:30 am: Mahamangalarathi
     - 05:00 pm to 07:00 pm :  Devotees can visit temple for darshana. Please note that there will be only 10 visitors allowed at a time and mask is mandatory
     - 07:00 pm to 08:00 pm : Taratamya Bhajane online, followed by Mangalarathi
