About this Event

The sacred book of the Hindus, the Bhagavad Gita came into being on the eleventh day (Ekadashi Tithi), Shukla Paksha (brighter phase of the lunar fortnight) of Margashirsha Maas which is also observed as Vaikuntha Ekadashi. This year this auspicious day coincides with Christmas day, December 25. On this day between 6 and 7 PM Chinmaya Mission Phoenix will celebrate Gita Jayanti and Tapovan Jayanti with a number of rituals like Krishnastakam, Gita Dhyanam, Gita Chanting by kids, Bansuri, Tapovan Shatakam, etc.
