Fans of Peter Pan will be happy to know that director Joe Wright will soon direct Warner Bros. new 'Peter Pan' movie. The 41-year-old has been signed to direct the Disney character of Peter Pan.

Warner Bros. is calling the project an introductory film, on lines similar to 'Batman Begins'. Warner Bros. has made this project "one of its priorities" and is keen on its latest project at present, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The script of the new Peter Pan movie has been written by Jason Fuchs while Greg Berlanti will produce the film, reported the contactmusic.com.

J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan, featuring the green-clad youth has been the subject of many movies and inspired many projects in media and merchandise.
