Unesco expressed that Japan's Mount Fuji, known for its perfectly cone-shaped volcano, was on Saturday bestowed World Heritage status. Fujisan which happens to be the highest mountain in Japan at 3,776 metres known to be one of the country's most prominent instance of seeing.
Unesco explained that the iconic snow-capped peak has generated inspiration for artists as well as poets at the same time remained the object of pilgrimage for centuries.
The Unesco committee who are at the moment organizing its 37th annual session in Phnom Penh known to have defined the site as a cultural heritage site, rather than a natural heritage site.
