Get ready to celebrate the festival of lights-Diwali & Annakut with BAPS in Arizona. Don't miss! Diwali is one of the biggest festival of Hindus, falls on the 15th day of Kartika month of the Hindu calendar. It is celebrated with great enthusiasm and happiness for five days.

The BAPS Shree Swaminarayan Mandir is organizing a two day long event to celebrate Diwali in Arizona. The event 'Diwali & Annakut BAPS' is scheduled to be held on Saturday, 29 & Sunday, 30 October 2016 at the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Phoenix.

According to the organizers, the event highlights are Annakut, Kids Diwali, Chopda Pujan & Kids Sharda Pujan. Hindus celebrate the day following Diwali as the beginning of the New Year. It is traditionally celebrated with the Annakut (a mountain of food).

The organizers are inviting you all to come with your family and friends to celebrate in the event. They also inviting devotionally prepared items by devotees for Annakut.
