The BAPS Shree Swaminarayan Mandir is organizing a two day long event to celebrate Diwali in Arizona. The event 'Diwali & Annakut BAPS' is scheduled to be held on Saturday, 29 & Sunday, 30 October 2016 at the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Phoenix.
According to the organizers, the event highlights are Annakut, Kids Diwali, Chopda Pujan & Kids Sharda Pujan. Hindus celebrate the day following Diwali as the beginning of the New Year. It is traditionally celebrated with the Annakut (a mountain of food).
The organizers are inviting you all to come with your family and friends to celebrate in the event. They also inviting devotionally prepared items by devotees for Annakut.
