Surprisingly, Charulata Patel will now be seen across different media platforms including television and digital including being a face of PepsiCo’s new ad ‘swag’ campaign. This campaign is a tribute to the true Indian cricket fandom.
After signing Patel as its new face for its “Har Ghoont Mein Swag” campaign last week, the beverage maker will break a television and a digital commercial featuring Patel, among other cricket fans. This will be as India plays New Zealand at Manchester’s Old Trafford cricket ground.
As reported by a source to Livemint, the campaign will be accompanied by a Fan-Anthem, which will be played both across digital platforms as well as TV channels. Advertising agency Wunderman Thompson has worked on the campaign.
Patel was born in Tanzania and raised by Indian origin parents. She has been watching India’s favorite sport since she retired 20 years ago.
Patel will begin shooting for the ad from this week itself. She is expected to be present during the India-New Zealand match as well.
