Story

The story revolves around three youth Ashok (Vimal), Charu (Deepa Shah) and Geetha (Oviyaa). Ashok and Geetha are studying in a school in Ooty. They develop a liking towards each other and believe it to be love. Their parents sensing something fishy separate the budding relationship. The duo part with a vow to join later in life and that becomes past as the film moves on.

Later Ashok goes to America. The film then unfolds with the hero visiting India to attend to the wedding of his brother. There he sees the bride's sister Charu and fall for her. Both the families consent and the engagement is performed. Then the story takes a peculiar turn with the emergence of Geetha...what happens then is the rest of the film.

Analysis :

 Sillunu Oru Sandhippu-review

Filmmaker Ravi Lallin has narrated the variations between infatuation and love at an appropriate time. However slower pace is sickening at times. Music by debutant F S Faizal is soothing and the song Adi Aathi by Aalaap Raja and Anitha, is sure to be a lullaby for the people in love. On the other hand Bussey Bussey number by Vijay Prakash and Rita is rocking the rappers off the seats. Camera is an asset for the film. First half is refreshing while second half is family entertainment.

Performance :

Vimal has donned two shades of the role perfectly well and the girls have done their roles aptly. Manobala as the uncle of the hero fills the comedy element of the film. Dialogues and concept are appealing. Narration a little paced up would have pepped the film much.

Final Word:Youth entertainer with a subtle message.
