This unhealthy process can lead to early symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other mental health problems. If you find yourself overthinking, here are some tips to help you deal with it.

Distract yourself: This is one of the best ways to prevent negative thoughts from consuming your mind. Distract yourself by doing something you love. This can be anything from shopping with friends to working out or attending a book club. Focus on yourself and avoid attracting negativity.

Share your thoughts with others: Share your worries and fears with someone who understands you. It not only provides emotional support but also reduces stress.

Meditation: Meditation is an effective way to combat intrusive thoughts and calm your mind. Avoid negative companies: Avoid people who are your go-to person for complaints. Such people bring you down by saying negative things and complaining.

Small Diary: Keep a small diary about yourself and write down any negative thoughts that come to mind. As you begin to recognize Automatic Negative Thoughts (ANT), try to assess why the situation is causing the negative thoughts.

Travel: Anxiety is difficult to manage, but don't let it ruin your travel plans. Travel as much as possible to create a positive mood and focus your mind. Traveling also helps create a calm environment that allows you to be present and avoid overthinking.
