What is late marriage for some may be the right age for someone else. There are many people out there who wait till they are 40 years old before saying, "I Do", reported the News.com.au.

A new study has revealed that in the last two decades, the number of Aussies getting married in their 20s have been almost halved. Research data released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics say that 1 in 10 women and 12 percent men are marrying in their 40s.

Kylie Dunjey, rep Relationships Australia, said that people live-together for a long time before being tied together in a nuptial. This is especially true for individuals who have divorced parents and want to be absolutely certain before taking the wedding vows. Besides, there are some people who want to buy a home or save up for the dream wedding.
