Sonam Kapoor has been riding high following the big success of her films Raamjhanaa and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. And the actress seems to be in a no mood to stop.

Galvanized by her stupendous box office run, the actress is now eyeing to make her foray in Hollywood, just like dad Anil Kapoor.

Buzz is that the 24-year-old actress has auditioned for the fifth installment of the hit franchise Pirates of the Caribbean, starring Johnny Deep in the title lead.

It so happened that the makers of the franchise reached out to a celebrity management company for assistance, who in turn contacted Anil Kapoor. The actor at once prompted his daughter to grab the opportunity.

The audition was held last week in Andheri, and Sonam is believed to have breezed through it. The results are yet to be announced.

Sonam Kapoor had also had a video conference with Walt Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer, the makers of this franchise. The casting agents of the film were also present during the audition.

Incidentally, Sonam alone isn't vying for the role. Even TV host-actress Tara Sharma, who has been away from the big screen post baby, is too believed to have auditioned for the Johnny Depp starrer.

The fifth installment of Pirates of the Caribbean series is expected to go on the floors in 2015.
