Sushant Adda Telugu Movie Review and Rating

Adda has finally hit the screens on the day of Independence to India, after encountering a few glitches along the way. Now that it has released, there are no secrets about the film or its lead actors Sushant and Shanvi. Bringing a fresh plot across, debut director G.Karthik Reddy has taken it upon himself to script the story and dialogues too.

Story

Sushant is good at breaking up love. That forms the crux of this love story. While he breaks up couples for a living, using the marriage register office as his adda, he runs into the glamorous Shanvi. The girl has her own agenda up her sleeve. She approaches the hero to break up her sister's love story for fear of her rowdy dad. Predictably, the lead pair fall in love along the way.

Analysis :

 adda-review

Adda does not do anything for Sushanth's career. The film focuses too much on a bad portrayal of the hero and derails badly in terms of screenplay. An idea such as a 'couple breaker' could have been put to more interesting use for the big screen.

Cinematography is good and the film carries a couple of good romantic songs and a few heartfelt romantic dialogues. However, other than the glamor that Shanvi lends, the pair have very little chemistry. The director appears to have messed up the film with a draggy climax after a poor presentation overall.

Performance :

Sushant fails to grab attention, while Shanvi makes an impact. Acting, other than the character actors and the comedy tracks are average. Kota Srinivasa Rao, Tanikella Bharani and Nagineedu have a little screen time, while Dhanraj, Venu and Thagubothu Ramesh carry off decent comedy scenes.

Final Word:
Adda is a 'blink and you miss' film. Watching it will only bring you yawns.
