The much awaited New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF) is all set to be held on April 10 in Big Apple. Award winning writer Salman Rushdie's novel, Midnight's Children has been adapted and made by critically acclaimed film maker Deepa Mehta of the same name. This film would be the first flick that will be screened at New York Indian Film Festival.
Salman Rushdie has expressed his happiness for his adaptation being selected to be screened at the international film festival. It has to be mentioned here that Deepa Mehta, the one who broke the jinx of with Fire film, is an Oscar nominee for her film Water in 2005. Therefore, expectations are sky-high for her premier. So, get ready to attend the event folks!
