Kanye West likes being 'extraordinary' and won't jump the bandwagon for nothing!
The 36-year-old hip-hop hunk recently turned down the offer to judge the next season of 'American Idol”. And no, it's not because he hates being judgmental! Apparently, West has a problem going mainstream.
"He didn't want to go that mainstream," a source told Us Weekly. "He didn't want to lose any street cred. So he turned it down."
After Randy Jackson, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj exited the show last season, the hunt is on for a fresh panel of judges for the "American Idol" Season 13. The only confirmed judge is Keith Urban. Jennifer Lopez, the former judge of the show, is likely to join him back again for this season.
Other rumored names for "American Idol" Season 13 include Will.i.am and producer/songwriter Dr. Luke. However, we are yet to receive any confirmation on them. The show returns on television next year.
