Last May, Apple presented the iPad Air series with the M2 chip at the Let's Lose event. According to news, the Cupertino company is preparing to release the next-generation iPad Air. Ahead of Apple's official confirmation, a new leak has revealed possible names, display sizes and processors for the next-generation iPad Air. Like its predecessor, the new product line is available in 11- and 13-inch sizes. Apple was initially suggested to install the powerful M4 chip in the next iPad Air. Popular leaker Evan Blass reportedly found clues about some upcoming Apple products in the document. A document image posted by a tipster on X suggests that Apple is currently working on two new iPad Air models with 11-inch and 13-inch displays. They are expected to run on M3 chipsets. If this leak is true, it represents an improvement over the current iPad Air lineup, which is powered by the M2 chipset. Previous rumors have suggested that Apple may ditch the M3 chip in the iPad Air line and go straight to the M4 chip.
The source code shared by Blass also contains references to the iPhone SE 4 and iPad 11, suggesting that Apple may release them alongside the iPad Air (M3). At the Let's Lose event last May, Apple introduced the new Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard models with the M2 chip, as well as the iPad Pro models with the M4 chip. iPad Air is available in 10.9-inch and 13-inch Liquid Retina (LCD) displays. It runs iPadOS 17. It has a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera and supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. It has a USB Type-C port for charging (20 W power) and data transfer. The iPad Air (2024) is priced in India at Rs 59,900 for the 11-inch base model.
