The Innova HyCross will incorporate a lithium-ion battery pack capable of providing sufficient energy to make the vehicle run on the EV mode. The vehicle is still in production and the release date is yet to be confirmed by the company. The flex fuel Hycross will slightly differ from the hybrid variant of the MPV.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari was always interested in promoting alternative fuels, that is to look for the alternate option of Petrol and Diesel, which help to reduce pollution and carbon emissions. Nitin Gadkari talks about the same in the launch event.
Toyota Motors has also launched a hydrogen electric vehicle this year. The Toyota Mirai FCEV stands globally as the hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle.
