Super talented filmmaker Mani Ratnam has been struggling for success from the past few years. Though OK Bangaram ended up as a decent grosser, his recent outing Cheliya ended up as a massive box-office debacle. The ace director has been left in shock with the film’s result and took his time to wrap up the script work of his next project. He has been badly criticized for his last movie and Mani Ratnam is all set with a multi-starrer which is said to be a stylish action thriller.

Vijay Sethupathi, Simbu, Fahadh Faasil, Jyothika and Aishwarya Rajesh are the lead actors in the movie and they are currently preparing for their roles. The entire pre-production work of the film has been wrapped up recently. The movie will be launched officially in January 2018 and the regular shoot of the film will start in February. The movie will hit the screens during Diwali 2018 and will be produced by Madras Talkies banner. AR Rahman is the music composer and Santosh Sivan is the cinematographer.
