King Nagarjuna hasn't tasted a massive hit in his career in the recent years. The actor's theatrical market tumbled down and is at risk. Impressed with the content, Nag signed Wild Dog and the film is an action thriller that is high on action and has no commercial elements. Nagarjuna essays the role of an NIA cop in Wild Dog which is directed by Solomon. The entire shooting portions of the film got completed and the film's streaming rights are sold for Netflix for a record price of Rs 25 crores.
The movie is speculated to release in February but there is no update about the same. As per the update coming, Nag is said to have suggested several changes for the film after he watched the final cut of Wild Dog. The final runtime is 3 hours and Nag wanted to chop off half an hour from the movie. A couple of episodes from Wild Dog will be shot again. The final cut would be locked soon after which Nag will approve the final version. The makers will announce the release date soon. Matinee Entertainments are the producers of Wild Dog. Dia Mirza, Saiyami Kher, Atul Kulkarni will be seen playing other important roles in the film. The film is majorly shot in Hyderabad, Bangkok and the Himalayas.
