Samantha had all her hopes on Yashoda and the film was released with huge expectations. Big-budget, Samantha's health sympathy and others were expected to boost the film. Yashoda opened with mixed reviews and ok occupancies. The film opened on a poor note on Saturday and the numbers did not grow during the evening the night shows. Saturday numbers are pretty low which clearly indicates that Yashoda is heading for a disaster in Telugu states. This clearly hints that Yashoda is heading for a disaster all over. The Sunday numbers too are not so encouraging.

Yashoda impressed a section of the audience but this did not contribute much for the box-office numbers. Yashoda is directed by Hari and Harish. The film is made on a remarkable budget. Sridevi Movies produced Yashoda. Samantha has pinned lot of hope on the film and she is eager about the result of Yashoda. The actress is all set to resume the shoot of Kushi starring Vijay Devarakonda, a romantic entertainer directed by Shiva Nirvana. The film's release is now pushed to summer 2023 release.
