After the super success of Karthikeya 2, Nikhil is back to test his luck with 18 Pages, a romantic entertainer. Palnati Suryapratap is the director and Anupama Parameshwaran played the heroine. Top director Sukumar penned the story and he co-produced the film on Sukumar Writings banner. GA2 Pictures are the producers and the film was delayed by months because of the reshoots. 18 Pages is made on a budget of Rs 18 crores and the makers recovered Rs 16 crores through the non-theatrical rights. 18 Pages released across the globe on December 23rd and the response has been quite poor. 18 Pages opened on a poor note and the negative talk killed the film.

18 Pages collected a theatrical share of Rs 4.78 crores across the globe which is poor. The Christmas holiday could not save the film. Gopi Sundar's music and the entertainment are the only saviours. Nikhil promoted the film all over. Ravi Teja's Dhamaka too released on Friday and the film's word of mouth was mixed. But the film managed to get decent numbers over the weekend. The mass entertainer directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina collected a theatrical share of Rs 15 crores all over. Sree Leela is the heroine and People Media Factory produced Dhamaka. Hollywood film Avatar 2 had a sensational weekend in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film raked decent money and witnessed packed houses on Saturday and Sunday.
