Nandamuri Balakrishna is back with Veera Simha Reddy and the film released during the Sankranthi holiday season on January 12th. The film directed by Gopichand Malineni is a smashing hit and it collected a theatrical share of Rs 59.90 crores in five days and this is the highest among Balakrishna's films. The actor played a dual role in this mass entertainer and the action stunts are the major highlights of Veera Simha Reddy. Shruti Haasan played the leading lady and Duniya Vijay is the lead antagonist. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar played other important role in Veera Simha Reddy. The numbers are impressive in overseas.

The theatrical rights of Veera Simha Reddy are sold for Rs 75 crores and the movie will recover the investment in its first week. Thaman scored the music and Mythri Movie Makers are the producers.
