Between stiff competition, Ravi Teja's Tiger Nageswara Rao released during the Dasara season along with Nandamuri Balakrishna's Bhagavanth Kesari and Vijay's Leo. Tiger Nageswara Rao remained low and ended up at the third sport because of the poor and negative word of mouth. Tiger Nageswara Rao did well during the Dasara holiday and the film collected a theatrical share of Rs 18.05 crores in five days across the globe.
The makers trimmed the runtime after the film received negative response. This worked for the film from the past two days as the numbers have seen a rise. But Tiger Nageswara Rao will end up as a cost failure considering the financials and the prices sold for the theatrical deals. Vamsee is the director of Tiger Nageswara Rao and Ravi Teja, Nupur Sanon, Gayatri Bharadwaj, Anupam Kher, Murali Sharma played the lead roles. Abhishek Agarwal Arts are the producers.
