TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu described the YSR Congress party candidate contesting the Kovur by election in Nellore district Mr Nallapurredy Prasannna Kumar Reddy as a thief and his party president Mr YS Jaganmohan Reddy as a thief of thieves.

Addressing media persons at Kovur as part of the TDP campaign in the constituency,  Naidu asked people to question Jagan on accumulation of illegal wealth when he comes seeking votes to them.

“Jagan feared CBI arrest a few days ago and hid himself but he has been indulging in braggadocios in Nellore,” Naidu said attacking Jagan. Observing that the political wind is blowing in favour of the TDP and people are seeking political stability in the state, Naidu asked the Kovur people to vote for the TDP candidate in the by polls.

Chandrababu described the government of Kirankumar reddy as a brandi (liquor) Government and said ACB raids on liquor syndicates in Chittor and Vijayanagaram districts took place only under the pressure of the opposition.

The TDP supremo said people defeated the congress party in UP as it lacked in leadership and stability and the same fate will befall it in the next elections in the state. (J)
