Kiran Kumar Reddy might have been a successful politician in the Congress for quite sometime, but his political journey-ever since he took up the charge as the 16th chief minister of Andhra Pradesh in November, 2009-has been a bumpy ride.

With K Rosaiah resigning for his chief minister post to become the Governor of Tamil Nadu, Kiran Kumar Reddy became the chief minister. The speaker-turned-politician was said to have handled the assembly efficiently, which presumably impressed the Congress high command and made him the chief minister.

But the state was filled with n number of issues—right from corruption  charges to bifurcation demands— by the time Kiran took up the charge. He reportedly tried his best to run the government efficiently and keep the leaders in tact. However, some of the Congress leaders reportedly were not happy with Kiran becoming the chief minister despite many senior leaders awaiting that golden chance of serving the people sitting at the highest order.      The result—internal criticism.

Several party men reportedly expressed their displeasure over the strategy of the young leader.  Even the party senior leader V H was also said to have raised complaint against Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Meanwhile, the chief minister blamed the time and said the muhurtham (the time) when he sworn in as the CM wasn’t good. What could be the reason behind the chief minister of a state making such depressing statements? Whether the Congress high command is really in a thought to change the top leadership in the state? May be yes, indicate our reports.

As of now, Kiran Kumar, is busy meeting the union ministers in Delhi. He is scheduled to meet minister of Panchayati Raj, Kishore Chandra Dev and forests& environment minister, Jayanti Natarajan.

On the other hand, the Congress leaders are meeting Vayalar Ravi, who is in state for discussing several issues. (Phani)
