The Congress MP from Telangana region, Vivek has said that the Telangana Congress MPs would elucidate Vayalar Ravi the actual situation of the people in this region.
He has expressed his anguish against the Governor ESL Narasimhan and the chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy. The Governor and CM are sending misleading reports on Telangana to the Centre, he added.
MP Vivek said all MPs would tell Vayalar Ravi that the survival of the Congress party would be impossible if it doesn’t carve out Telangana state.
The MPs who are in Delhi are likely to meet Vayalar Ravi once he winds up the Andhra Pradesh tour. These statements gained significance in the wake of Vayalar Ravi’s breakfast at the unified state supporter Chiranjeevi. It may be mentioned here that Ravi--who earlier said he never discussed anything with any leader on by-polls--later mentioned that the main agenda behind his tour was by-polls.
If Vayalar Ravi’s tour also meant to look into Telangana issue, then whether he would be meeting MPs back in Delhi after the completion of tour to discuss this issue is a million dollar question.
Also, people are also reportedly fed up with the consultation news and presumably wishing that Congress should now at least stop beating around bush on the statehood issue.(phani)
