There was a prominent news into exposure that France will fine Google 300,000 euros for breaking rules on data secrecy.

Furthermore, it was know that the French agency that regulates information technology explained that Google turned out unsuccessful to competently respond to its June decision giving the company three months to be more upfront about the data it collects from users. In a statement on Friday, France's National Commission on Computing and Freedom, known as CNIL, said Google had not made requested changes. This includes specifying to users what it uses personal data for, at the same time how long it is held. CNIL said it would now initiate formal sanction proceedings.

Especially when it comes to online media data secrecy is certainly a much bigger concern. That's in fact more because piracy and wrong doing has become a regular practice these days.

So better be careful!
