An Indian MP and his wife have been accused of hurting a second maid. According to reports, the couple is already under investigated for the murder of a servant in their house and are in custody. The servant had died of severe injuries.

Dhananjay Singh, an MP from Uttar Pradesh and his wife Jagriti Singh are the main suspects, according to the police. While, Dhananjay Singh has denied any role in the maid's death, there is no word from Jagriti. Further the MP informed police of his intention to divorce his wife, Jagriti.

A second servant, a maid, working in the MP's house was admitted to hospital with serious injuries. The servants in the MP's house alleged that they were often beaten with sticks and kept locked. The injured maid was unable to sit when the police visited her at the local hospital.
