As many as 739 Arizonians have enrolled in the federal health insurance exchange initiated by Obamacare, so far.
According to the latest statistics released by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (the first enrollment list since the website was launched) a whopping 106,185 have opted for health care plans across the U.S.
However, less than 27,000 people have picked up the plan through federally run marketplace while the larger number have signed up for their healthcare plans via state-run marketplaces. Blame it on the underlying niggles with the healthcare.gov website!
In Arizona, nearly 33,000 people had filed for healthcare. But most of the candidates didn't make it to the final step of selecting a plan.
