A Glendale man was arrested on Tuesday night in an inebriated state for trying to lunge his child down the window. Glendale police has confirmed that the man was highly drugged at the time.
As per the reports, Glendale police rushed to an apartment near Bethany Home Road and 43rd Avenue where they found the front door open and items knocked down on the floor.
When the cops confronted the 32-year-old Brenden Michael Fairbanks, he lifted up his 8-year-old son and threatened to poke a 12 to 14 inch plastic pen inside the child.
Despite repeated pleas from the cops, Fairbanks refused to put the boy down and in stead rushed to his bedroom while mumbling something. There he lunged his son toward the window, causing the glass to shatter.
Officers immediately held Fairbanks by the shoulders and pulled him and the boy away from the window.
On further resentment, officers used a stun gun to threaten and arrest him. Once the child was released, the police were able to take Fairbanks into custody.
Fairbanks will be tried on court on accounts of child and adult abuse, endangerment, disorderly conduct, criminal damage, aggravated assault and resisting arrest.
