A fatal accident led to the death of a 71 years-old bicyclist in Scottsdale on Friday night. The incident took place around 5:30 PM near Pima & Dixileta.

Investigations are on by Scottsdale Police to unravel the cause of the deadly accident that killed the victim.

According to reports, the bicyclist moved into traffic and was struck by a car that that lead to his death. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital by paramedics.

Inspite of life-saving efforts the victim died due to the nature of his injury.

Details of the victim has not been released by the police, on request of his relatives. Only information that cops revealed was the bicyclist's age - 71 years.
