Scottsdale, AZ:
Two people were found dead at an Apartment complex on Friday, in Scottsdale. Police Investigation is underway as the cause of death is believed to be suspicious. The two bodies were recovered from Cibola Apartment Complex near Chaparral and Scottsdale roads at around 1.15 pm.
Police received a call from out of state person who is a family member of the two deceased. He asked the Police to check on the two at the given address. When the police arrived they saw the man and woman dead. Both of them are in their 20’s or 30’s. "We received a phone call form an out-of-state family member asking us to check the apartment," said Scottsdale police Sgt. Ben Hoster. "At this time, our detectives are investigating this as a suspicious death," said Sgt. Hoster. "We're trying to determine who they are, if they live here, are they together, are they not. We don't know yet."
Mindy Kenney, a woman from Atlanta on a visit, staying at a neighboring house which was used as an air B and B said,"They said someone had passed away in one of the units and said there was no issue," she said. "I went to the grocery store and when I came back, there was crime scene tape, I couldn't get into the front of my apartment. It was kind of freaky to see all the crime scene tape and equipment. It's disconcerting because you wonder if there is a crime issue in the area or if someone is on the loose. You just don't know. It is kind of disconcerting when you come to a new place that you've never stayed and have this amount of police activity and not know what's going on."
She also stated, "I know that Old Town and Scottsdale and this area is a great area and when I travel here for work, this is where I always stay and will continue to stay.
The police had to go back to get warrant for further investigation at the Apartment. The Police are expected to investigate and come with their report within a day or two.
