Phoenix:
The leaders of Arizona Educators United (AEU) told reporters on Monday that the teacher walkouts were well planned to continue protest, through Wednesday May 2.

The organizational Leaders told the members during an interactive Facebook video, on Monday night that they need to keep the pressure on lawmakers to make sure of having enough budget by providing needed cash for schools.

They have already communicated teachers to meet with parents and other members of the community on Tuesday morning, before a smaller rally will be held at the Capitol at 11 am to keep the pressure on lawmakers.

The teachers organization also said that, teachers will gather all together at the Capitol, on early Wednesday morning for another protest rally in anticipation of Ducey’s budget plan passing.

The organizers also said that, if the budget gets passed, more community meetings will be planned to determine the steps taken further.

The Leaders said that, Ducey’s budget plan for teachers does not meet their demands, such as more funds for schools and pay raises for Support staff

Many of School districts have announced that, they will be closed during the walkouts.

Few Schools planned to hold classes on Tuesday but again remained to be closed.

On Friday Ducey announced his deal, but leaders of the AEU, said that the Gov Ducey, did not meet any leaders from the organization involved in the RedforEd Movement.

In a joint press release by AEU and AEA, they said that "We have a press release and a tweet from the governor. We have no bill. We have no deal. The devil is in the details,"
