Good Year,AZ:
The city of Good year suspects that its bill pay system might have compromised, with security breaches.

The city authorities said that they are investigating the case, after a customer reported identifying a potential problem on Monday morning. The staff have disabled the system and also reported to the system vendor, said Goodyear officials.

Residents were informed about the issue over the City’s social media platforms.

On Tuesday, this issue by identified and reported to take necessary security measures, in a statement given by city manager Julie Arendali said that, "If you use the City’s online utility bill payment system or made an in-person payment using a debit or credit card, please check your credit card account as soon as you can. If you see anything that looks suspicious, please contact your credit card issuer right away,”

Customers can still make alternate utility payments using the postal mail, checks issued using an online banking system, or by the city’s automated phone call system at 623-882-7373
