All the passengers on board on the airplane crashed and the incident took place in Nepal. As per the reports, the rescue team has been pulling out the bodies from the wreckage and the initial reports said that there are 22 people on board and all are suspected to have died. There are also reports that four people among the 22 are Indians.No one could have survived told the reports and an official statement will be released soon. For now, 16 people's bodies have been pulled from the site at 14,500 ft and the crash took place in Sano Sware Bhir of Thasang in Mustang district.
The flight's crash site was reported 20 hours after the plane went missing. The rescue operations are going on at the crash site. The turboprop Twin Otter 9N-AET plane is operated by Tara Air and it lost contact few minutes after it took off from Pokhara at 10 AM on Sunday. The plane was built in Canada and the Twin Otter 9N-AET is running from Pokhara to Jomson in Nepal. The airplane was diverted to Mt Dhaulagiri and the airline issued the details of the list of passengers. Four Indians on board are said to be Ashok Kumar Tripathy, his wife Vaibhavi Bandekar (Tripathy) and their children Dhanush and Ritika. The family is based in Mumbai. The Nepal Home Ministry has deployed two private helicopters to search the missing airplane.
