The coronavirus scare is back in China and the nation has been struggling hard to bring the situation to a control. A top health body based in the country said that it is quite impossible to track the infections across the country. The officials are warning that the new cases have been on a rise. The nation ahd to abandon its zero-Covid policy last week. There was a huge outrage among the people after the new restrictions are implemented. People reached the streets, staged protests and they attacked the healthcare workers. The mass testing and quarantines have been ended by the country recently. "Many asymptomatic people are no longer participating in nucleic acid testing, so it is impossible to accurately grasp the actual number of asymptomatic infected people," told NHC recently.
NHC Vice Premier Sun Chunlan told that the infections are rapidly growing. There is a fear as there are millions of elderly people who are not fully vaccinated. There are lot of underfunded hospitals if the new wave of coronavirus hits the nation. In Beijing, there is a line of 50 people stretched outside a fever clinic. The locals say that most of them are infected with the coronavirus. Some of them are struggling with fever from more than ten days in a row. The shops, restaurants and parks are asked not to reopen. Some of them have been opting out for self-medication at home. Several businesses are struggling as the Covid days are back. The streets of Beijing are completely empty.
