China is battling with the fourth wave of the Covid-19 and the situation has been pathetic in the country. The hospitals are completely full and as per the analysis, more than 1 million people are expected to lose their lives in the next three months and more than 60 percent of the population is expected to get infected with coronavirus. The Indian government issued a high alert and the situation has been reviewed yesterday. Three cases of the new Omicron sub-variant BF-7 have been traced in the country which is now shattering China. A review meeting was conducted by the Union Health Minister Mansukh Madaviya yesterday. He directed the officials to remain alert and all the states are informed about the same. The government also asked the people to wear facemasks when they are in the public.
The cases of the new variant are traced in Gujarat and Odisha. The health experts have kept them in isolation currently. An NRI woman flew from USA to Vadodare in Gujarat and she is tested with the BF-7 variant of Covid-19. She has taken three doses of the vaccine but she is said to have been tested with coronavirus. The Centre also issued high alert at all the international airports and all the international travelers are scanned thoroughly. The government issued a clarification that there is no change in the guidelines for the international air travel for now. The Centre will hold weekly meetings to review the situation of Covid-19.
