It is hard to hear about the brutal incident that took place in Moga in Punjab, where eve teasers thrown a 14-year-old girl out off a moving bus for resisting molestation. The girl and her mother succumbed injuries in the incident and later doctors declared the minor girl was brought dead.
Union Minister of Water Resources Uma Bharti has spoken to media over the issue and attributed all those who were boarded in bus are responsible. She said, “I hold all the people in the bus responsible.”
While the BJP leader Shazia Ilmi has said, “We should hang our heads in shame. What kind of an ugly, scary society is this?”
Following the protests by Congress party and Women’s organizations, Punjab chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal condemned the inhumane attack and admitted that the bus belonged to a company owned by his family. And he assured that the culprits would be punished at any cost.
The girl, her younger brother and her mother were boarded the private bus to visit a gurudwara from their village. Witnesses have cleared that the mother and girl were thrown by group of men for protesting their abuse. Eve teasers were allegedly friends of driver and conductor of the bus, and two persons were arrested so far.
