There cannot be a better way to spend your Halloween than a good haunted house. And when you have real storytellers giving a detailed account of the otherworldly residents inhabiting the place, things simply can't get any spookier than that. This Halloween, take sometime out to visit your nearest haunted hubs for an otherworldly experience. And if you are lucky enough to be in one of these places that we are to recommend you now, then the scare would just double up. Have fun!

Emlen Physick Estate
If you happen to be in New Jersey this October 31st, we suggest you head to Cape May to checkout the spooky Emlen Physick Estate. Set amidst a luscious herb garden testifies, this was a former production site of medicinal herbs. But that isn't all. This place produced quite a many otherworldly creatures too. If you are lucky, you might spot some during your visit.

Carnton Plantation
Carrie McGavock every day watches over the Civil War cemetery neighboring her home, which wouldn't be that unusual, except for the fact that she's been dead for over a century now. That doesn't deter her though. Many have routinely claimed to see her ghost at her Southern home.

Woodburn Mansion
The official residence of the Governor of Delaware, this haunted mansion is frequented by a boozing ghost who draws off liquor bottles in the cellar. Apparently, the ghost is as old as the 1798 mansion itself.
