Yesteryear actress Suchitra Sen is no more!

Those dream-like eyes that enthralled not just the audience of the black-and-white era, but charm Gen Y and beyond has been shut forever.

Best known for her films with legendary Bengali actor Uttam Kumar, this Padma Shri recipient actress, who have been living away from the limelight for come many years, was battling critical illness.

She passed away at the age of 82. She is survived by daughter Moon Moon Sen and grandchildren Raima and Riya Sen.
