Actress Veena Malik, who recently married Assad Bashir Khan Khattak says marriage has brought calm and peace into her life.

Malik, who met Khattak at the US embassy, says that her husband has transformed her. Life has become calm and relaxed after the marriage. The sleep that was elusive in her 13-year career in showbiz is back in her life. All thanks to her marrige to Assad, says Veena.

Assad popped out his marriage proposal eight days after meeting Veena. She said 'yes' and on the 10th day they were married, recalls Malik. She was attracted to Assad's nature of being transparent, direct, honest and shy like herself.

The actress while talking about her future plans as an actress says that now she would act in only family-oriented movies and in commercials. Typical Bollywood and Hollywood films are a strict no, no, says the actress.
