Indian television's most loved reality show, Bigg Boss, is all set to return to the small screen with a bang this September 21st. Ahead of the take off, the country can't help but wonder which celebs would make their way into the Bigg Boss' launchpad this time.
For all who didn't know, Bigg Boss' Lonavala pad takes the form of a jumbo jet this season. That's right!
If Salman Khan's pilot teasers got you wondering on what the heck is going on this season, know that the Bigg Boss house has undergone an overhaul and will now resemble the interior of an aircraft. Exciting, isn't it?
The brand new Bigg Boss house will also have a waiting lounge and two different sections for Economy and Business class. Whoa!
The brand new installment of Color's prime time reality show that airs on September 21 has already locked in on celebs who are expected to give you a daily dosage of drama for 100 days.
And the biggest draw this year will be actress Minissha Lambawho will be accompanied by model-turned-actor Upen Patel. Actor Arya Babbar is also expected to be on-board if the deal falls in place.
Other telly-world celebs you are likely to see this season are TV actress and reality show star Shweta Salve, Karishma Tanna, and Indian-origin Irish starlet Maryam Zakhariya.
VJ Sushant Divgikar will be the only LGBT contestant in the show. Kingfisher calendar model Sonali Raut might also participate in the show.
The channel has spiked its overall budget by a whopping Rs 130 - 140 crores.
With as many as 11 sponsors roped in for season 8 and a 10-second ad spot booked for as high as Rs 3.5 - 4 lakh, Bigg Boss is aiming big this time.
"In the earlier seasons, the channel got sponsorship from seven prominent brands, but with its increasing popularity over the years, the numbers of sponsors have gone up," says a source.
Colors hope to have another interesting season replete with fresh new controversial episodes.
