Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has made heads turn at Cannes 2016 as she dazzled the red carpet at Festival De Cannes wearing a studded champagne colored couture gown, designed by Ali Younes of Kuwait.

The 42-year-old actress had first made appearance in 2001 at Cannes, when "Devdas" was screened at the prestigious festival. In 2012, she made her debut at Cannes and is now celebrating 15 years of representing India and L’Oreal at the French Riviera.

This is the actress’ first appearance of 2016 and has arrived for the screening of the film “Ma loute” (Slack Bay) during the 69th Cannes Film Festival.

Aishwarya left to Cannes with daughter Aaradhya and mother. She experimented with a metallic sheath overlaid by a sparkly cape thta is almost the length of the floor. Adding a dash of oomph to her look, she had bright turquoise blue liner that complimented with bold lashes and blue eyeshadow. Her hair was styled in loose waves.
