Rang Rasiya Movie Review

Story :

The Rang rasiya is different in many ways, the title is has been designed very differently, it can be seen in the movie also how it has been articulated according to its title.

The film, which claims to be based on Ranjit Desai’s biography of renowned painter Raja Ravi Varma, is a journey where souls get undressed and nakedness finds a new purpose.

Ravi Varma (Randeep Hooda), who is married to a princess, is more inclined towards the colour palette than worldly duties. His family don't support that and he becomes a rebel.starts finding comfort in through painting, which makes him to leaves home in order preserves his art and philosophy.

After the patronise do by king of trivancore raja ravi verma stated to new dimension to his art but after demise of king uncontrolled movement, the princely estate of Baroda appoints Raj Ravi Varma as chief artist from where the real journey begins goes till end of the day.

His Bold disobedience, Raja Ravi Varma becomes the painter who transmit the priest holed goods to homely figure to without, irrespective of caste, creed and individual identity of the followers, with his new invention with the colours made several disputes and even went to court of law.

Analysis :

Rang Rasiya Movie Review

The story narration begins with the attacks on art gallery were Raja Ravi Varma paintings auctions, it was inappropriate opening on the life of a painter. Then the Rang Rasiya continues with the love story of Sugandha’s (Nandana Sen) heart and Ravi Varma’s. They both sail in the water of love literally, before clashes begin among the age-old theories of anarchy, revolution and personal salvation.

Ketan Mehta clubbed all love essence with the creation and appreciation of beauty.Though the film makers were troubled for shooting such a beautiful way It’s the portrayal of the ancient story of Pururava and Urvashi through Sugandha and with Ravi Varma Rangrasiya hindi movie has stepped ahead in showing the nudity without any furthe shamefulness heads hanged in shame. The story is designed in well manner and nicely executed.

The move apart form the sequence the idea of making film must be appreciated, he is the artist who gave face to gods on cheap posters, with this today's sankis are able to see their gods.It was like the social service who made the made to the structure visible to all.

The film screenplay is quite simple because there are no hard scenes. It has placed right place. At the time of court room battle in the film, the magistrate, played by an ever-charming Tom Alter, very teasingly asks Ravi Varma, “Mr Varma, aap kanoon ke baare me kitna jaante hain,” and the man replies, “Utna hi jitna aap kala ke baare me jaante hain.” This statement is the backbone of the narrative. In climax, one of the loopholes of an otherwise fantastic story is when Ravi Varma says, “Jeevan ka uddaishya hai kala se sundar hona.” This is the resolution of the film.

For Rang Rasiya ,Randeep Hooda emerges as the real strength.and Nandana Sen looks divine, elegant and enticing. She does justice to her role.On the other hand, she makes it appear graceful and prevents the plan from backfiring.

Performance :

Rang Rasiya Movie Review

Rang Rasiya is bolstered appreciably by the strong performances by the two principal actors - Randeep Hooda as Raja Ravi Varma and Nandana Sen as his muse in Bombay, Sugandha Bai - as well as by the formidable supporting cast (Darshan Jariwala, Vikram Gokhale, Sachin Kedekar, Ashish Vidyarthi, Paresh Rawal, Vipin Sharma, Gaurav Dwivedi).

The technicians have done the awesome work were to bring those olden days climate, its very critical to the technicians, they did a complementary job to go on with the scenes in simple locations.

Final Word: Rang Rasiya is as good a film as Its a piece of art for this year.
