Analysis
The first half of Teraa Surroor has been loosely written without much interest. The characters have been faked out and the screenplay has not been taken enough care of. The complete first half offers nothing much except some interesting episodes. The performances by the lead actors spoil the film completely and on the whole the complete first half is a huge disappointment.
The second half of Teraa Surroor also has nothing much to reveal and though the film gets interesting at times, the film dips down badly at regular intervals. The complete movie has been predictable and the narration has been outdated. The climax of the movie offers nothing new and on the whole, the complete second half irritates the audience and Teraa Surroor makes the film fall flat.
Performance
Himesh Reshammiya once again disappoints the audience with his performance once again which is below the expected levels. He comes with the same expression throughout the movie and the most surprising thing is that he manages the same expression even in the intimate episodes. Farah Karimi doesn’t even know the basics of performing and Teraa Surroor will sure end up as her last movie. Top actors like Naseeruddin Shah and Shekar Kapoor have been completely wasted. All the other actors have been decent.
The story of Teraa Surroor offers nothing much and is quite predictable. The screenplay has been completely outdated and it has not been taken enough care of. The music of the movie has been pathetic and the songs have been wrongly placed. The cinematography of Teraa Surroor is the major highlight of the film and the production values of the movie have been rich enough. The director of Teraa Surroor fails to come up with a convincing film on the whole.
Final Word
Teraa Surroor ends up as one more disappointment from Himesh Reshammiya and the movie fails to keeps the audience engaged and it will end up as a debacle.
