Analysis
The first half of Te3n starts on a slow note and gets interesting after all the characters gets introduced. The movie gets interesting after it moves into the story and the pre-interval episodes catch the needed pace. The interval scenes have been interesting and they keep the film lively. On the whole the first half of Te3n makes a decent watch.
The second half of the film has a completely different story to reveal. The movie lacks the needed gripping narration throughout that kills the entire thriller. The complete film has been dragged and is predictable from all the corners. The climax kills the complete film as it seems irrelevant and misses the needed logic. On the whole Te3n falls flat because of the confused and completely predictable second half.
Performance
Amitabh Bachchan who proved his mettle comes out once again with an outstanding performance. He dominated the entire film and carried it in the best available way. Nawazzudin Siddiqui who dominated all the movies with his stunning performances fails to impress surprisingly as his character has not been well written. Vidya Balan has been given a short role which has been decent. All the other actors have been decent.
The story of Te3n has been taken from a Korean movie titled Montage and the screenplay along with the dialogues has been adopted by the team of Te3n. The screenplay has not been gripping enough. The music has been decent and the cineamatgraphy has been apt. The production values have been grand enough and the director fails to make the needed impact with an interesting narration.
Final Word
Te3n is a movie that falls flat because of the predictable execution and unconvincing climax.
