Story
Sultan is the story of Sultan Ali Khan (Salman Khan) who is a Jat from Haryana and passes time doing nothing. He falls in love with Aarfa (Anushka Sharma) on the first go and tries to impress her. During this time he gets insulted by her after which Sultan aspires to turn wrestler. His dedication and passion makes him a national champion in no time and Aarfa gets married to Sultan after he proves himself. Analysis
The first half of Sultan has been exceptional in all the aspects. The presentation of the film has been outstanding and the dialogues have been sensible. The songs have been shot and placed well. The action episodes have been exceptional throughout the first half. The performances by the lead actors take the film to an untouchable place and the first half of Sultan is a treat to be watched.
After such an impressive first half, the second half is not a let down at all and it has been carried well with the right emotions and enough dose of action episodes. The emotional episodes are the major highlights of the film and Salman Khan completely dominated the movie with his fearless performance. The climax has been heart touching and on the whole the second half of the film has been handled well that the film has all the ingredients to end up as a blockbuster.
Performance
Salman Khan is a man with utmost dedication and commitment; Sultan is the best example for that. He shined in each and every scene with his stupendous performance and his comedy timing will leave you in surprise. His performace is the major highlight of the film. Anushka Sharma too takes the share in performing well and she will leave everyone in surprise with her fearless acts of wrestling. All the other actors have delivered their best.
The story of Sultan has never been touched in the history of Indian cinema. The movie has been presented well and the screenplay along with the dialogues are said to be the major highlights. The songs have been placed and shot well, the background score has been outstanding. The cinematography has been decent and the editing has been good. The production values have been lavish and large. Abbas Ali Zaffar took his time to prove his mettle and Sultan is the right film.
