KGF: Chapter 2 had a sensational start all over and the film is raking massive revenues in its second weekend. The film had a stupendous run in the country and the film over performed in North India surpassing all the Bollywood biggies. Shahid Kapoor's latest film Jersey released across the globe yesterday and the response was decent. But the film failed to open on a decent note and it raked Rs 3.5 crores across the country which is quite low. While KGF: Chapter 2 happened to collect Rs 12 crores on its second Friday in the North Indian belt alone.
As per the openings, Jersey will suffer badly to make decent numbers at the Indian and overseas box-office. KGF: Chapter 2 is expected to have a packed weekend all over the nation in all the languages. Jersey is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri who directed the original. Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapoor will be seen in other important roles. Aman Gill, Dil Raju, Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Allu Aravind produced Jersey. The movie is made on a budget of Rs 100 crores.
