The U.S. media reports had revealed that Nat King Cole’s daughter, Singer Natalie Cole, has passed away at the age of 65. As per the reports from the TMZ celebrity news website, Cole suffered from the congestive heart failure died due to associated complications following a kidney transplant and Hepatitis C. It was diagnosed in 2008.
A big hit was scored by Cole in 1991 with Unforgettable - a virtual duet with her late father, who passed away before his daughter embarked on her solo career. Cole earned three of her nine Grammy Awards from Unforgettable and the album it came from.
In mid 1970, Natalie rose to musical success as an R&B artist with the hits "Inseparable", "This Will Be", and "Our Love". She faced a period of failing performances and sales because of a heavy drug addiction. With the 1987 album Everlasting and her cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Pink Cadillac", Cole re-emerged as a pop artist.
Reports indicate that on 31 December 2015, Cole died at 65 years of age at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, due to congestive heart failure.
